Depression Prevention 2K Walk
 

A 2K Walk is organized to support the cause “Beat Depression-Talk about it” to mark the World Suicide Prevention Day on 10th September 2012. To raise awareness about the Depression which is treatable & preventable, if left untreated may lead to Suicide Death.

Why This Campaign?
Suicides due to 'Relationship issue/Divorce' is 54.5%, 'Professional/Career problem' is 20.1% (NCRB 2011).Rates of Depression & Suicide due to Relationship issues or Professional/Career problem has increased innumerably. This is becoming a silent epidemic with stigma attached to it people don’t come out and talk about it. To generate awareness and support people affected with Depression join us for the 2K Walk in Hyderabad.
